Capitalizing ‘Joe the Plumber’

A few hours ago I wrote that Joe the plumber should capitalize on the recent buzz that he created.

Boy, people are fast!! People are milking the buzz already. Here are some that I found:

• Rich Segal found the best one: People are selling swag already, and they’ve gone as far as doing adsense campaign.

  I couldn’t stop laughing on the fact that the domain has a typo. It’s www.plubmerjoe.com instead of www.plumberjoe.com. The reason is that the later was already owned by someone since 2005.

• And some Texas plumbing company is enjoying the bounty for owning http://www.joetheplumber.com.
• Oh, and does anyone want to buy http://therealjoetheplumber.com/ ? It’s up for sale now.
• Last one,  Obama campaign is also doing an adsense campaign on the keyword:

Joe Wurzelbacher, HURRY UP!!!
