So Plasma will creep up in CPU utilization due to reading some socket that's not really available. Caused by the clock widget! Killed the widget, it's usable now. I think it has Intel Onboard Video chip. I am still discovering issues with my Plasma desktop this morning. It's a bit of a productivity drag right now. Hopefully I can get it spiffy soon. Install took me maybe two hours. everything works, no freezing, and I have no problems with my color themes. After using the gnome desktop for the last 5 years, the new KDE desktop is a breath of fresh air.
