Thoughts after a concert and a hiking trip.
Just came back from a
Delirious? concert. Gosh, they've aged! Three of them were bald, and the other two were hairy. I know there are plenty of bands out there with members way past their twenties who are still alive and kicking, I've just never seen one live. I wonder about me in my forties. Will I be bald and jumping around, playing my bass, or will I be in dancing and breathing through a saxophone?
Seven friends and I climbed the
Half Dome two weeks ago. It was a significant experience for me. It was not only about reaching the pinnacle, more so, it made me think about everything that I have not done yet. Some people look at live as a time frame in which they must cross out as many items in their "Must Do in Lifetime" lists. Well, if you are like me, our first task is to create that list.
So here is my first item in my list: I want to be in one active band.
